Oh and the lemon bars with an almond crust we're very good as well. (Some places don't put celery in their clam chowder - what is that about?! We were tooling down Highway 1 on our 35th anniversary. Just unfortunate we couldn't have received wonderful food out of the gates in such a great location!Maybe next year? And of course, the location is very special overlooking the ocean and the pier. I would say the best in Point Arena.The young man serving us was excellent.The calamari and fish of the day was excellent as well. The waitstaff was largely disinterested in providing service and when our chowder bowls arrived we found that they only had about 4 spoonfuls of thin chowder - the rest was all...bread. !!!!!!!!

It is better run and the food is better. That was the best part of the meal. You'd think with us being the ONLY customers at that time, we would have gotten adequate attention, but we did not.
