Eclectic menu, friendly staff. Kalapawai is always a good place to get together, especially on their open lanai. They did not know what it was and frankly I do not think this restaurant should be on open table. Experience local ingredients from our American and Japanese inspired dishes.
Located in the Kapolei Village Center where Hawaii's favorite locally owned supermarket (Foodland) is also situated. Everything melds together well and is always juicy (not dry like some other burger joints). What you eat no one can take away from you.
I actually had cravings at 8:30pm which was perfect since they close at 10:00pm.

!Kalapawai Cafe is one of our favorites here and we love beach days in Kailua with sandwiches from Kalapawai Deli there mmmmmmmmmmm. Service and staff are on point. Would recommend for dinner for sure. My husband and I took advantage of the 20% off dinners and treated our little granddaughters to a special treat!
