I read a lot of dystopian books and this one absolutely takes the cake. I liked this book much better than Something Borrowed. At the end of SOMETHING BORROWED, Rachel’s life seemed to be on the upswing, while her ex-best friend Darcy’s was going downhill fast. I do not have a lot of time on my hands, and characters and events must grab me and make me care immediately for me to continue. The writing was strange and very passive. This was an awesome series (Something Borrowed & Something Blue) I can't ever remember totally changing my opinion about a character like I did with Darcy, Emily Giffin did a fabulous job of creating two so completely different characters within one. Ethan was one of my favorite characters from Something Borrowed; I had really hoped that Rachel would end up with Ethan instead of Dex. I enjoyed the characters in the movie so much that I wanted to see what happened next. The sequel to Something Borrowed.

I almost didn't read this book when I realized that it was going to be from Darcy's perspective. I have to say that I really love the Authors imagination in this book. While redemption stories rely on the protagonist having flaws, Giffin spends far more page time establishing the fact that Darcy is a lousy person than she does redeeming her.
The storyline continues to build, never slowing, until you are left contemplating your own reality. Having lived in London made me love the book even more!
