The current managers were constantly busy keeping the part looking and operating like a well oiled machine. Under NO circumstances are animals allowed in our Cabins unless they are legally recognized service animals.
We can cater for anything from a one man tent through to the largest of motorhomes and all sites are long enough to leave your vehicle & caravan attached. We request that ALL guests with animals take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of the other guest and staff at the Park. The Park is just a two minute stroll to the Historical precinct of Gundagai with it cafes, antique shops and art galleries. We had dinner at the Family Hotel in town, which was delightful. Will recommend to other what a great park. We always enjoy our stay in your cabins. When we got there they told us that we were upgraded to a ensuite site, saying that they are not allowing anybody to book the normal sites. We couldn’t believe the gem we had found the first time we stayed so thank you for your services.

We found our night at cabin 11 on Sunday 23 February to be very enjoyable, the cabin particularly clean and well kitted out. Tumut to Gundagai or Gundagai to Wagga Wagga as it located a short distance from the only boat ramp into the Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai. We had a lovely stay at Gundagai Tourist Park and Tourist suites. Gundagai Cabins and Tourist Park is the perfect stopover accommodation, or start point for those using the Murrumbidgee canoe/kayak trail. PETS: are allowed in the Park at the Manager's discretion only. Many travelers enjoy visiting Gundagai Heritage Railway (0.7 miles) and Yarri and Jacky Jacky Sculpture (0.7 miles). There are 40 drive through undercover powered ensuite sites, all with sullage disposal. Lastly our "upgraded" site was completely concrete, meaning that we could not use our tent at all. The room and park were very clean, modern and comfortable with two doors for airflow and a flat screen TV. The ensuite facilities are available also at close range to your van door and very clean. Thank you for the accommodation at your park on this date. I would just like to say that your caravan park is terrific and we stay with you regularly and once again recently on our way to Melbourne. They then proceeded to charge us extra for the upgraded site. Our family felt comfortable and safe in this well conducted establishment. Does Gundagai River Caravan Park have any great views? After a wonderful nights sleep, we woke to a beautiful view over the golf course and drove through the charming town before getting on the road again.
This was my second time staying at your motel with my partner and, again, could not fault it! Facilities are very well maintained. I would highly recommend the Gundagai Tourist Part to all my friends and family for a high wuality accommodation.

There are powered and unpowered camp sites also available at Gundagai Cabins and Tourist Park. This is unacceptable, if you are not allowing people in the unpowered sites you should tell them before they drive all the way to gundagai, giving them no option but to pay extra.
